02 SEPTEMBER 2019 (MONDAY) –GANESH CHATURTHI
We, at Millennium believe in respecting all the religions & festivals and spreading love and happiness to all.
Ganpati Bappa Moriyaaa!!!
Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles. A small Assembly will be organized to convey the significance of Ganesha Chaturthi festival.
A Clay-Modelling Activity will be conducted in the School for the students of Classes I – III.
05 SEPTEMBER 2019 (THURSDAY) –TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION
05 September, birthday of the Second President of India, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teachers’ Day, a mark of respect to the contributions made by teachers for the society.
For the Students of classes I – III it will be a working day.
School Timings: 07:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Dress Code: Party Dresses
Gifts to Teachers: Only a Handmade Card or a rose may be given.
A Special Assembly will be organized to honour the teachers and show gratitude & appreciation towards them by the students.
13 – 19 SEPTEMBER 2019–ROALD DAHL DAY WEEK
Roald Dahl Day is the annual, global celebration of the World’s number one story-teller, his beloved stories and unforgettable characters. His books have been adapted for television, movies & the stage, including renowned children's books like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, Matilda and James and the Giant Peach.
D.E.A.R. (DROP EVERYTHING AND READ) PROGRAMME will be organized on Monday, 16 September 2019 for all on the occasion of Roald Dahl Day. The D.E.A.R. time is a sacrosanct time for children and teachers in the class to pick up their favourite storybooks and read. Parents are requested to ensure the D.E.A.R. time at home as well on regular basis.
GRANDMA’S STORYTELLING ACTIVITY will be organized on 17 & 18 September 2019.
Everyone loves to listen to stories. There is hardly anyone amongst us who have not heard a story during their childhood. The aim of this activity is to help the children explore their imagination & creativity; increase their comprehension and build their confidence & speaking skills.
18 SEPTEMBER 2019 (WEDNESDAY) – PEN-PAL LETTER WRITING
Class III Activity: Pen Pal Letter Writing will be organized on Thursday, 19 September 2019.
Letter Writing holds a significant stimulus with a good reason as it hones reading & writing skills; encourages perspective-taking; promotes patience; fosters interests and supports development of social skills.
20 SEPTEMBER 2019 (FRIDAY) –BEST OUT OF WASTE
We believe in ingraining in our children, love for nature and their responsibility to protect it. The School shall be conducting BEST OUT OF WASTE ACTIVITY. The children will have to bring the waste material from their homes and prepare the same in the School. Parents to prepare their child for the activity. They will be adjudged on presentation, aesthetic taste, and waste material used.
Children to select any one object mentioned below and bring the material accordingly. Fevicol and Fevisticks will be provided in the School. Students making the Best Piece of Craft will participate in Inter - School Competition to be held soon.

29 SEPTEMBER 2019 (SUNDAY) –WORLD HEART DAY
World Heart Day takes place on 29 September every year for raising awareness about eating nutritious food to have a healthy Heart.An Interaction with Nutritionist from Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida will be organized for the students for spreading awareness aboutss eating healthy food & daily exercise on Monday, 30 September 2019.
